On the rare occasion you are facing issues with you blinds, we are here to help! This simple guide will give you some quick fixes to solve your issue.Â
The chord on my faux wood/aluminium venetian has come apart
All of our venetian blinds are manufactured with a plastic breakaway barrel as a child safety device. Don’t worry, your blind is not broken there is a quick and easy fix! Simply place all of the tassels back into one side of the barrel making sure that the knotted ends are fully inside, then take the other half and click it back together.
Tip: Operate your venetian blind holding the barrel to prevent this from happening.Â
If you have a large faux wood blind, these also can be heavy, simply hold the bottom of the blind to relieve some tension when opening.Â
My Roman blind is creased
Some softer fabrics within our range our prone to creasing, and this is normal. The creases will fall out naturally as the blind is operated regularly.Â
The louvres on my Vertical blind are not tilting
Unhook all of the louvres from the headrail, then use the chain or wand to turn the trucks all to the same position so that they are aligned. If they are not, simply add some resistance and carry on turning. Don’t worry if it makes some noises all components are made from strong materials and will not break.Â
